12 weeks to go!!

The gangster party was great fun! Nathan makes quite a good-looking gangster!
We will have better pictures of the pregnant flapper later! (We are waiting on the pictures from Yen's camera.) There was even a birthday cake in the shape of a severed horse's head with it's tongue hanging out and blood dripping from the neck. (For those of you who are like me and are uneducated in gangster pop culture, this was taken from "The Godfather")

The nursery is coming along nicely. The new flooring is in and all that remains are the baseboards, which are in progress as I write. There has only been one injury during this whole process which is pretty amazing given the amount of power tools in use. Yesterday Nathan nicked his fingertip on the table saw. There is a slight portion of his fingertip missing. Luckily though, it is just a little bit of the tip and not the whole finger!

Between Christmas and New Year's we took our babymoon. We went to Cedar Key, Florida and spent 3 days and nights relaxing and resting up for tax season, Nathan's next project at work, and Baby! We stayed in a condo located right on the water.

We took a boat tour of the outlying islands and then then the next day we rented a boat and went all around the bay and the outlying islands.

One afternoon we drove inland and went to the Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve and took a 3 mile walk along the trails there. Each night the sunset was beautiful.

It was a great trip and very relaxing. Can we go back yet??!?
It is not a slight thing when those so fresh from God love us.

If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.
